Hollie Hinton

Attorney (she/her)

Hollie is a Colorado native with a passion for justice.  Hollie attended Colorado State University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts in 1997.  While obtaining her undergraduate degree, Hollie also earned her Colorado teacher’s license.  Hollie taught middle school in Aurora, Colorado for three years before attending University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law.

During law school Hollie was an intern at a family law firm in Denver.  Hollie began practicing family law at The Harris Law Firm, PC in 2005 and has solely practiced family law since.  Beginning in 2014, Hollie was a solo practitioner, at The Hinton Law Office, until joining Hogan Omidi, PC in January 2023 as a Denver family law attorney.

Hollie’s family law practice includes all areas of family law, but she has extensive experience in grandparent and third-party parenting rights, representing respondent parents and family intervenors in dependency and neglect cases, complex jurisdiction matters, and family law appeals.  Hollie takes pride in assisting her clients with their most personal, private, and important legal issues, their family.  Hollie understands that every client’s case is unique and therefore, she works diligently to explore individualized solutions to reach the best possible outcome for each client.  Hollie is honest and straight forward when advising her clients; and therefore, her clients tend to have realistic expectations of  case results.  Hollie is a knowledgable divorce lawyer in Denver, representing clients in District Courts across the State, including the greater Denver Metro Counties, mountain counties and the western slope.

In addition to her regular practice, Hollie often volunteers.  Hollie has volunteered representing pro bono clients in DACA cases and SIJS cases.  Hollie volunteered regularly at the Arapahoe County pro se litigant clinic and as a panel member for the Colorado High School Mock Trial competitions.  Hollie also volunteers regularly at a local high school in their media center/library.

Outside of work, Hollie enjoys spending time with her family, both human and canine.  Hollie is active in the outdoors and enjoys traveling when possible.
