Jodi A. Cochran

With thirty-five years of experience as a Colorado family law paralegal, Jodi brings a deep understanding of the law, practical problem-solving, and a compassionate approach to every client. After building a successful career as a family law paralegal, Jodi became a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) in June of 2025. LLPs are a new designation authorized by the Colorado Supreme Court to provide affordable and independent legal services in family law cases.

As an LLP, Jodi is authorized to advise and represent clients directly in certain family law matters, including divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, and post-decree modifications. Clients benefit from the same level of professional care and legal insight that Jodi developed through years of hands-on experience and now with the added flexibility of direct representation and lower costs.

Jodi’s approach is rooted in empathy, advocacy, and care. Whether guiding a client through the complexities of a divorce or helping draft pleadings to the court, Jodi ensures every client understands their options and feels supported every step of the way.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Jodi enjoys time with family, cooking, watching classic films and traveling.

Jodi is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Family Law Section and the First Judicial District Bar Association.
