Erin A. Penrod
Attorney
Erin is an Attorney at Hogan Omidi P.C. who practices exclusively in family law. Erin represents clients in all family law matters, including complex-asset divorce and high-conflict parenting disputes. Her ability to develop compelling narratives, think analytically, and find creative solutions to complex legal problems allows her to succeed in both the courtroom and in settlement negotiations.
Erin also routinely handles contempt actions, child support modifications, spousal support modifications, parenting time enforcement actions, protection orders, and parent time restrictions. Erin considers more than just the tangible pros and cons in a case; she always looks to mitigate the emotional toll the dissolution process puts on clients and their families. Erin’s imparts detailed advice and the necessary knowledge to allow her clients to feel empowered to make decisions about their futures. Her reputation in the family law community as a reasonable, diligent, and honest litigator reduces conflict and encourages settlement. Erin also recognizes that sometimes settlement isn’t possible, and when that is the case, she fiercely advocates for her clients in the courtroom.
Erin is highly attuned to the damage the divorce process and conflict between parents can cause children. Not only does Erin advocate for clients dealing with contentious custody issues, in a different capacity, Erin also conducts custody investigations in the role of a Child and Family Investigator.
Since graduating from law school, and before working at Hogan Omidi, Erin worked at two highly regarded family law firms. During law school, Erin interned at a family law firm and also interned for domestic relations judges. During law school, Erin was inducted into the Order of the Coif honor society as she graduated in the top 10% of her class. Additionally, Erin acted as an Assistant Managing Editor of the Denver Law Review and was a quarterfinalist in DU’s Hoffman Cup Trial Advocacy Competition.
