Kayla Quinn
Attorney
Kayla is a Colorado native and an Associate Attorney at Hogan Omidi, PC who practices exclusively in family law. As a Denver family law attorney, Kayla represents clients in a broad range of domestic relations matters, including dissolution of marriage, allocation of parental responsibilities, parenting time, decision-making authority, child support, maintenance, property division, post-decree modifications and enforcement actions, and family law appeals.
Kayla completed her undergraduate education at the University of Colorado Boulder, graduating summa cum laude. She then attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she participated in the top-ranked National Trial Team Program. Through her involvement in trial advocacy competitions, Kayla received multiple awards recognizing her courtroom advocacy skills and commitment to effective client representation.
While in law school, Kayla gained valuable experience through internships with the Denver District Attorney’s Office. She worked in both the Family Violence Unit and in County Court, where she developed practical courtroom experience and strengthened the advocacy skills she now applies in representing family law clients.
In her family law practice, Kayla understands that no two families are alike and that every case requires an individualized approach. Although she has extensive training in trial advocacy and is a confident courtroom advocate, she recognizes that litigation is not always the best solution. Kayla works closely with her clients to develop strategies that align with their goals, whether through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation. She strives to help clients navigate difficult family transitions while pursuing practical and positive outcomes for their future.
Kayla is passionate about advocacy both inside and outside the courtroom. She regularly volunteers as a mock trial coach and judge, helping students build confidence in their advocacy abilities, refine their courtroom skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the legal profession.
Outside of practicing family law and volunteering, Kayla enjoys painting, watching movies and television, playing board games, and spending time with her spouse and their two cats.
